› How high does the glass pool fencing in QLD need to be?
At least 1200 mm. Our panels are 1200 mm high and sit ~60 mm above the ground on spigots, so the installed height exceeds 1200 mm.
› How much does custom raked or stair glass cost?
Price depends on shape and size. Please email your drawing to Email: sales@factoryonline.com.au for a quote.
› What is the recommended gap between each panel?
By regulation, gaps must not exceed 100 mm. Most installers use 30–60 mm for a clean look and compliance.
› What is the gap for the pool gate?
10 mm on the hinge side and 10 mm on the latch side.
› Should the pool gate open inward or outward?
The gate must open outwards (away from the pool) under QLD regulations.
› How do I fix core-drilled spigots?
Drill a 70–80 mm diameter hole to a depth of 100–150 mm (depending on the spigot type). Check floor level and set spigots at the ideal position, then pour non-shrink grout into the hole.
› How far from the spigot centre to the panel edge?
Generally 200–300 mm from spigot centre to the nearer edge, or use width ÷ 6 (e.g. 1200 mm ÷ 6 = 200 mm).
- Max distance between two spigots: 1200 mm.
- Panels over 1800 mm require 3 spigots.
› What is the lead time for delivery?
