How high does the glass balustrade need to be?

Glass balustrades must be at least 1000mm. Our panels are 970mm with spigots raising them by 60mm, giving a total height above 1000mm, compliant with NSW regulations.

What is the recommended gap between panels?

Regulations require gaps not exceeding 100 mm. Most professional installers recommend 30–60 mm for best appearance and safety.

Do I need to install a top rail?

A top rail is required if the balustrade is not on the ground floor.

How to fix core drill spigots?

Drill a 70–80 mm diameter hole to a depth of 100–150 mm (depending on the spigot type). Check the floor level, position the spigots, and then fill with non-shrink grout.

How far from the spigot centre to the panel edge?

Generally 200–300 mm from the spigot centre to the nearest panel edge.

• Simple rule: panel width ÷ 6 (e.g. 1200 mm ÷ 6 = 200 mm).
• Distance between spigots must not exceed 1200 mm.
• Panels over 1800 mm wide require 3 spigots.

What is the delivery lead time?

• Sydney: 2–4 working days
• Other areas: 3–7 working days (bulk orders/peak season may take longer; we confirm delivery 1 day prior)

Do you deliver glass? What areas do you cover?

Yes. We deliver glass using our own A-frame trucks, keeping panels upright and safe. Unlike third-party couriers that stack glass flat on pallets, our method reduces risk of cracks/scratches or packing errors, avoiding costly delays.

Sydney Metro: $89 + GST

Can I pick up glass or hardware?

Yes.

• Glass panels & handrails: Pickup from Yennora, NSW 2161 warehouse.
  1. Use our L-frame and forklift into your ute/trailer/van/truck.
  2. Or choose pre-packed L-frame for customer/transport pickup.

• Boxed items (spigots, hinges, latches, joiners, etc.): free pickup from our Auburn showroom.
