The minimum height is 1200 mm. Our standard panels are 1170 mm and spigots raise them by about 60 mm, so the installed height exceeds 1200 mm.

What gaps are allowed between pool fence panels?

Gaps must not exceed 100 mm. For best appearance and safety, installers typically use 30–60 mm between panels.

Which way should a pool gate open and what hardware is required?

Pool gates must open outwards, away from the pool. Hinges must be self-closing and latches must be self-latching to meet safety regulations.

The pool gate can be hinged to a hinge panel, wall, or square post. Gate and hinge panels are available in various sizes.

Pool gates must swing outward. Hinges are self-closing, latches are self-latching for compliance.

3. Glass spigot selection

2x spigots per panel (3x if over 1800 mm).

Non-conductive insulated spigots are required if the fence is within 1.25 m of pool water.

Spigots are Australian-engineered, NATA accredited, and meet AS1926.1-2012, AS1288-2021, and AS1170.1. Made from Duplex 2205 stainless steel, offering twice the corrosion resistance of 316L stainless steel.
