How high does the glass balustrade need to be?
Glass balustrades must be at least 1000mm. Our panels are 970mm with spigots raising them by 60mm, giving a total height above 1000mm, compliant with NSW regulations.
What is the recommended gap between panels?
Regulations require gaps not exceeding 100 mm. Most professional installers recommend 30–60 mm for best appearance and safety.
Do I need to install a top rail?
A top rail is required if the balustrade is not on the ground floor.
How to fix core drill spigots?
Drill a 70–80 mm diameter hole to a depth of 100–150 mm (depending on the spigot type). Check the floor level, position the spigots, and then fill with non-shrink grout.
How far from the spigot centre to the panel edge?
Generally 200–300 mm from the spigot centre to the nearest panel edge.
